One tool, one defined component list
A redress kit groups the replacement components specified for a tool assembly. Match the tool model and revision before comparing seals. Tools in the same series may require different components, and a kit photograph does not establish interchangeability.
Keep component quantities clear
For a complete redress, distinguish the number of tools from the number of individual seals. The parts list should identify the reference and quantity of each component in one kit. Where the assembly has been modified, use its current drawing rather than relying only on an earlier kit number.
