Size and sealing arrangement
Identify the ring by its AS568 reference or metric inside diameter and cross-section. For a replacement without a known size, send the assembly drawing or sample together with the groove dimensions. Include whether the seal is static or moving and whether the assembly uses backup rings.
Compound selection
HNBR identifies a material family, not a single temperature or pressure rating. Specify the required compound grade and hardness where available, along with the service fluid, temperature, pressure and decompression conditions. The extrusion gap and surrounding hardware are also relevant to high-pressure sealing.
